Need a map of the Caribbean to help plan your island vacation?
Good for you - who can help but get excited when you are taking a trip? Planning and anticipating can be half the fun.
Whether you are going to be land or water based, you are sure to have a wonderful time.
To help you plan your trip, we have several Caribbean maps for you to take a look at.
These include maps of the Western and Eastern islands in the chain, as well as maps that pinpoint the most popular ports of a call on the cruise ship itineraries (for all you water based vacationers out there).
The first map of the Caribbean you will find below is just to pinpoint the Caribbean's location in the world. You'll see it highlighted on the first graphic.
Then we have a detailed map of the Caribbean islands that highlights all the islands.
We then include an interactive map of the islands which is alot of fun to play with. You can just click on the arrow to zoom in on the island you are interested in. It's alot of fun so give it a try.
As you'll see, there are alot of islands to choose from!
It's a great problem to have isn't it?
If you need more information on an island or a map of a particular island, take a look at the navbar (on the left hand side of the page) for a list of all the countries we cover (with more to come).
If we've been scuba diving there, it will eventually make its way onto this website. We've been to quite a few of the Caribbean islands, so hopefully we cover the island you are interested in in more detail.
Half the fun of a vacation is planning it, IMHO. I love looking at all the information and pictures and finding out about the place I am going to visit. It's always a learning experience and I hope you enjoy it too.
Wherever you go, I hope you find these maps helpful and enjoy your trip!
The writing on this graphic is a bit small, but I include it just for an overview of the Caribbean. Following this graphic is a blowup map of the western Caribbean and a map of the eastern Caribbean.
Here is a map of the Western Caribbean, including the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico and the coast of Central America.
This is a blowup without showing Mexico and Central America.
This map of the islands in the Western Caribbean shows popular cruise ship itineraries.
A map of the Eastern Caribbean from a birds eye view.
A blow up map of the islands in the Eastern Caribbean.
Cruise ships are popular here and these are some of the top stops they make in the Eastern Caribbean.
This is the fun interactive map of Caribbean I talked about earlier. All you have to do is click on the +/- buttons to zoom in on the island you are interested in. If you zoom in, it will give you the place name. It's alot of fun so go ahead and give it a try.
This is my favorite map of the Caribbean - an interactive satellite map. You use it just like the previous map. Just click on the area you are interested in (you can look at previous maps for exact locations if you are not sure).
These maps and books may also help you plan your trip. Here's wishing you a wonderful trip to the Caribbean wherever you go!
We also have pages of other Caribbean island maps and Caribbean destinations if you are looking for more detail. Click on the link below for the map of Caribbean destination you are interested in
